Dispatches from the teahouse

Enjoying the sunshine

April 6, 2021May 8, 2022Sisman Tuccar

One afternoon Sisman Tuccar was loitering about in the street in front of the teahouse. Somebody asked, “Sisman, what are you doing?”
Replied Sisman, “I’m enjoying the sunshine.”
“But the sun’s not out,” said the man.
Replied Sisman, “It is where I’m standing.”
