The human being is not one person. He may look like one person but he’s not. He is many people who look like one person through somebody else’s eyes. Because he is many people looking like one, there is no consistency to be found. One day he’s a saint. The next he is a sinner. One day he’s playing the piano. The next he’s on the trombone. He’s like a jazz ensemble. Now according to conventional ideas, he needs to come into line. He should abandon the trombone and focus on playing the piano. The tantric approach is totally different. For the tantric the question is rather, how do you get the ensemble to swing?
