In the ancient world the odeon was the place for the free exchange of ideas. Through the performance of music and poetry there was the expression of ideas and dialogue in thought. Without this ongoing discourse the human dimension has no meaning. There are only doings and undoings. Consumption and being consumed. The mere semblance of being alive.
